We who write on krusetravel.dk come from Denmark, and for almost 25 years we have traveled a lot in Greece. We have now visited more than 30 islands and also parts of the mainland. Our favorite travel destinations are authentic islands or cities where we live close to the local people and their daily life and without mass tourism. We prefer beautiful nature, lovely beaches and would prefer to live with a fantastic sea view. Although we prefer a “do-it-yourself holiday” and like to island-hop between several islands, there is also plenty of inspiration if you are one of those, who think it is easiest to grab a package holiday.

You can easily do, without the pool bar and the stressed guides, but on the other hand you want to experience the real Greek atmosphere, small bathing coves with crystal clear water and where the wind and cicadas in the pine trees behind are the only sound.
